Atlantic Mackerel Party Ball

Ingredients

Mackerel
14 oz.
Lemon Juice
1 tbsp. (15mL)
Salt
1/4 tsp. (1.25mL)
Prepared Horseradish
2 tsp. (10mL)
Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. (1.25mL)
Cream cheese
8 oz.
Onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp. (15mL)
Hot pepper sauce
1/4 tsp. (1.25mL)
Pecans, chopped
1/2 cup
Parsley, finely chopped
3 tbsp. (45mL)

Instructions

  1. Drain Mackerel well and flake. Combine Mackerel, Cream cheese, Lemon Juice, Onion, Horseradish, Salt, and sauces; Mix well.
  2. Chill several hours or overnight. Combine pecans and parsley. Shape mackerel mixture into a ball; roll in nut mixture. Chill well. Serve with assorted crackers.
